Company History: 

Since P.B. Odom Sr. built his first residence in Nichols Hills in the early 1930s, the company he founded has sprouted into a cornucopia of construction, development, architectural, sales and leasing firms.  Founded on the simple concept,  You treat the public the way they want to be treated; and they in turn will treat you right.       

Today , at least a thousand Oklahoma City and Moore area homes and thousands of square feet of commercial and retail space, as well as many shopping centers, apartment complexes and town homes have had their concrete foundations laid by Odom companies.                                                                                                       

As a youthful adventurer, Paul B. Odom Sr. migrated from Mississippi to Oklahoma in the 1920s. He envisioned Oklahoma as a “land of opportunity” and his children and grandchildren share his vision today.

P.B. Odom Jr. has spent his life in South Oklahoma City. He founded his firm P.B. Odom Enterprises in south Oklahoma City at, 7204 S. Pennsylvania Ave. over 50 years ago.  When you stay in a community and the same location for that many years, there had to have been an acceptance by the people and the community.

We are not a national conglomerate, or a branch of something. We have always been and always will be here…to answer for our projects.

P.B. Odom Jr. was building houses before he was out of college at Oklahoma State University. His first commercial endeavor was to purchase a property at 74^th and South Pennsylvania Ave. in the early sixties.

Today, P.B. Odom Enterprises develops, land for residential, retail and commercial developments. It also develops and builds apartment complexes and retail shopping centers, then retains and manages those units.

All around Oklahoma City and Moore you see the Odom name on projects, projects that made a large contribution to Oklahoma City and the surrounding area.  The things that we are doing now had to be planned long ago. In the development business, you have to plan 15 years ahead of time.

P. B. Odom Jr's son, P. B. Odom III newest development is a 130,000 square foot shopping center that is Chatenay Square Shopping Center home to some of the most exclusive retail shops in Oklahoma City.  P.B. Odom III has also developed some of the most exclusive properties in Oklahoma City, Briarwood Creek, Rivendell, Talvera, and Rockport.

P.B. Odom III son, David, the fourth generation of Odom builders, has constructed the majority of Chatenay, another exclusive development in South Oklahoma City, which includes gazebos, a clubhouse, and eight-foot brick wall surrounding 17 acres.

P. B. Odom Jr carefully mapped out plan for long-term growth should take various family businesses well into the 21^st century and beyond. Evidenced by the entry of the newest Odom to join the family business P.D. Odom, P.B. Odom Jr youngest son, who while attending college is building his first home this year.
